Post C section recovery

I just delivered my baby on Sunday. Today is my 6th day Post C section. When getting down from bed yesterday. I felt like my wound is tearing and I could felt the pain but it's still bearable since I'm having pain killer. And this morning it happens again and the pain was sharp that I broke down lying on bed feeling helpless. Any mummy sharing the same experience as me? Able to advise whether this is actually common? I'm going appt in 2 days time but just want to get a peace of mind as I'm having trauma getting on bed.

Yes first 2-3 weeks super super painful! Extreme pain beyond words, no exageration. Painkiller didnt help with the pain. I could barely move. Whatervr you say sounds exactly like me. Feel like the wound is tearing apart and opening very painful. Going on and off the bed is the worst. Cause we’re straining our abdomen muscle thats why it hurts alot mroe. I also remember i couldnt walk properly and really walk 45 degree bended down for the first month cs too painful. Organs also feel like falling off. All of these, but my wound is still healing well. Now 17m PP i still feel pain on and off.

I’m gonna keep a lookout for the responses too. This is my 4th c sect and I still have all the all the fears about the pain. All I remember is that my pain was awful for the first 4 days and then it would ease so I just kept taking the painkillers exactly once the timing was due and countdown the 4 days. And I would get the injectable ones. I hope you are taking your painkillers… those strong one.

I was also told by a friend of mine not to sit too long as the "belly" is folded. Your body might assume that that's the position that heals. Thus it's best to rest flat else standing up.
