Feeling Bad

I been feeling very tired during my pregnancy , currently in my 17 weeks . Feeling giddy , nauseous , lower abdominal cramps/pain sometimes during the day. And I got no mood to work at all, but I can’t keep taking MC / leave as I have used up quite a bit of it during my 1st 2 mths of my pregnancy as I have very bad morning sickness. Now sometimes I will force myself to go work when I’m not feeling well which only make myself depress more , some of my colleagues (who never get pregnant and is not married)understands me and will let me rest inside the office but some (who is a mother and father) don’t , they will just give you faces or give bad remarks when you rest inside or when you took MC/Leave ,and cause I’m working in service line which makes things worse and I don’t always get good customers and was even shouted at once when I’m at work . I still got 5more mths to go and I don’t know how long more I can endure . I’m really tired

Hey.. I can empathize with how you are feeling. It just seems like such a long journey and it's already tough even though we're starting out. I hope you have someone that you can really talk to when things get bad! There will be bad days but remember that there will also be good days. Remember the good days :). Always reminding myself to be thankful that I can look forward to seeing my baby in a few months time! Everything will be worth it then! Be strong and take it one day at a time. Before you know it, the bad days will be over.

I’m 17 weeks pregnant too and have had to quit working 2 months ago. Pregnancy is more difficult during our time as compared to the previous generation. Maybe that’s why they look down to us and think we’re overreacting. But please don’t let their opinions define you, and not to take toxic clients or coworkers affect you, Understand them even though they don’t understand you. And like what most mothers have commented, be strong for your little one. I hope you’ll feel better soon.

we're the same, Im in my 18weeks I always feel cramps on my lower abdomen, I asked my OB about it she told me its just a stress or the heaviness of ur tummy and should not worry about it you just need to have rest and don't think or worry too much. I resigned on my current job because I know it will only gave me stress I'm very sensitive. I now I'm at home and always feel bored 😆what I did, I indulged myself to arts, I draw/paint, and listening to music. It helps easing my worries and my stress. Endure it well mummy! you can do it!

Im diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum and i had to resign due to it. I have been to hospital twice and each visit is warded for 3 days and followed by hospitalisatio leave of 1 week. I work in a service industry too. I faced the same that you are facing. They are not supportive which only made me depressed and afraid to go to work. Im lucky my husband is supportive of my decision to resign while he work alone until i gave birth. I hope you get well and go through your pregnancy with ease. I totally feel you.

Dr prescribe me with Dilectin and increase the dosage.. at first I only have to take 2 tablets at night but dr increase to 1 morning, 1 afternoon and 2 at night.. for 1months then continue normal dosage which is 2 at night. It really help to reduce not completely gone but yeah.. now I'm at 22 weeks .. still continuing my dilectin cause if I were to stop, it will be back after 3 days of not taking 😔

Please just be strong for your baby. it's sad that a lot of people still don't get pregnancy even those who's been there which we expect more to understand us. I'm 17 weeks too and I always have a bad pregnancy sickness. my husband would say he understands me but when things get unmanageable for him, he thinks I'm too melodramatic even when I am not pregnant. I think we preggers like to complaint and express how we feel not for people around to understand us but most especially for our loved ones to comfort us.

I'm feeling exactly the same. Wondering to quit work but thinking as well the financial needs specially when i'm about to give birth. But it is really stressing at work. Being at really low mark due to unexpected absences, having emotional stress specially the nature of the work being a customer service at a bpo company. Acknowledging the customers feeling but not yours, going home not having someone to tell how was your day went how are you feeling.. It's just sad. But need to cheer up for the little baby inside

That's okay we have to prioritize the baby inside us. Don't feel bad okay? I just visited my doctor yesterday and so blessed that my baby is healthy and active. Have you visited yours? Hope your baby is doing well too. Let us not stressed ourselves. I will enjoy my 10 days leave.. 😌

I feel you mommy! 17 weeks and 1 day here. V tired as well. Aaand i also exhausted my leaves and mcs in the first trimester due to crazy morning sickness. No mood to do much everyday and waking up for work is exhausting! Buut it helps if you have anything small to look forward to everyday.. maybe a favourite food you can eat during lunch or talking to your baby.. but if you really cant take it maybe you can speak to your gynae? They may allow you some days of HL! Your company cant say anything if you take HL mah..

salamat mamsh 😊

I feel sad for you and I pity your situation. I will pray for you. Every pregnancy is unique. Other pregnant woman feels great right after the 1st trimester just like my sister but there are some like us who still have the same problems with the 1st trimester like abdominal pain and nausea. I am also in my 17th week. I get tired easily too. Good thing my company still doesn't require us to go back to the office. Working from home has been a big help for me. Yet, my job is convenient.

Also in my 17th week now, mumsh. Kaya natin to mumsh, we still have a long way to go and we know na worth it ito. Good thing you have those colleagues na naiintindihan ang situation mo. Sa end ko, I needed to resign kase my boss is stressing me out and aside sa pagiging pregnant, may heart complication din ako. So I really can’t bear it na. That I need to resign and to look for a different source of income para sa fam. Laban lang tayo mga mommy. Hope you and your fam have a happy holidays!
