Accidentally ate expired cheese

I accidentally ate cheese that expired 6 months ago. Will anything happen? What can I do?

it's fine for a one off thing. I ate expired yoghurt by accident once. if the cheese tasted ok and wasn't clearly mouldy then it probably wasn't bad
