How often do you cut your baby’s nails? Do you use nail cutters intended for babies?

I cut my baby's nails every other day to prevent him from scratching himself and me. Their nails grow pretty fast as they are always "moisturising" their nails with saliva. I am using PUKU baby safety scissors. Nail cutters can be dangerous to use as there will always be some parts that are blocked and it can easily turn into a bloody situation. Pigeon ones work fine too, they are smaller in size. I bought them from Kiddy Palace.
