Allowance for parents

How much do you all give your parents who will be taking care of baby about 3 times a week? My mom asking for about $300 per wk and this works out to be about $1200 per mth which I feel she is overdemanding it. I am alr giving each parent $200 to $250 each... pls share advice. I am unable to find infant care as no slots anywhere near us/near office/near my parents place. Sighs...

Market pricing for baby sitter will be higher though. If you are giving allowance $200 per mth then the weekly of $250/$300, it should be fine. Alternatively to give her fornightly for her taking care of baby while monthly allowance remain. I mean it depends also on your financial stability.

Thanks for your reply. Infant care is about $1290 and after subsidy only $690. And they take care of the Baby 5x a week, while my mom can only help care 3x a week. Don't understand why she is demanding so much. There's nothing much my baby can learn too at home as compared to in school.
