How much do customised cakes usually cost? My friend was quoted $500 for a Mickey Mouse 2-tier red velvet cake with fondant décor. Is that exp?

this is my boy's 2 tier cake. nice and recommended by many so i tried this baker. end up never fail my expectation at all. i can refer u if u keen.

It depends on how complicated the cake design is. I was quoted around $200 to $350 from Sherbakes. You can consider. :)

Depends on the quality of ingredients it uses and the labour cost. Low price doesn’t mean high value either.
