breastfeeding

How much breastmilk should i be producing for my 2 month old? Seems like when i pump therea barely anything. And she has a good latch but always fusses when i feed her alot via breast. I always have to top her off woth formula and she has about 3-5oz .. i feel stuck and sad as i dont even want to be giving her formula. My doctor set up an appointment to see a specialist but its in a month from now. . Any advice or am i doing it wrong :(

Hi mummy, i know your frustration. For me, as long as baby is fed, bb is full, gaining weight well and have adequate output, is all i can ever hope for. It's not your fault. Right now everytime i pump, my yield is only 10-40ml. I can only feed him my bm once every 3 days! The rest is all fm. So mummy, FED is best ok! Don't stress. More stress, less milk. Drink lots of water!
