Seatbelt?π I just strap my kids down so they canβt endanger themselves. But the distraction thing can be a real problem. Need to entertain while feeding. We would shake containers to make sounds, sing songs, etc. 1 hour is quite normal for me tooπ (for my 1st child.. she was always a slow eater). The second child (now 6m) is much faster so far. Hope she stays that way
Iβm happy to say that my 1 year baby finishes everything in 10 minutes ππ (Sometimes he finishes in 6-7 minutes) Since 6 months he can do that. Also he prefers what we eat more than what he ate. He needs everything what we eat. So that we had to forget junk food and moved to less salted meals. π
oh and I put my baby on the mini chair with the food tray to lock her in (bought at shoppee it look like a mini camping chair). Her tiny feet able to rest on the floor. most times I play a cartoon and and let her just wear diaper for easier cleanup (no clothes so I can shower her straight after)
Mine, 16 months takes about 15-30 mins. My LO likes noodles soup so she eats faster on things she likes. We strapped her to the baby child since 5 months to create the routine and habit.
Mine 1y5m so far max maybe 45mins with fruit after meal. From 6 months i put her on baby chair with strap and every meal time thats the routine. So far no problem with running around
give a meal when he is really hungry that way your L.O more cooperative. it takes me 15 minutes-ish to feed poridge and starwberry and drink water
Maybe he isnt that hungry yet? I always start with fruits first to get my baby's appetite going!
