How long will it take to recover from a vaginal birth?

I had a vaginal birth and I still remember that I asked my doctor if I could take a walk when I was still in the recovery room! It depends from person to person though, but experts say that vaginal births are less stressful than C-sections. Besides, they help you go through the whole experience of natural birthing which is an enriching experience for a mother.
