How long does picky eating usually lasts? I've read the same things in the web over and over. Anybody who has a different approach or best tip to deal with it?

It depends how long the child is still exposed to the old sets of food/menu that he got used to eat. Try to make some variations and introduce him more vegetables and fruits. Most children who become picky eater are those who have been introduced to instant food like Cerelac or Gerber during their early years.

Thanks, but since he started eating solids, he used to eat a wide variety of fruits and veggies. I usually prepare his food so it's not instant. He would eat whatever I serve him like boiled eggs, bread, rice, chicken, etc. until one day he suddenly rejected the spoon. Then I let him use use hands to eat. He sometimes use the spoon although he can't properly scoop the food yet. Now he's 14 months and is only interested in pasta recipes, chicken, fries, buttered corn and some veggies. He doesn't
