How to keep avocado such that it will ripe easily? I usually buy avocado from supermarket n then keep them in fridge . How to tell if avocado is ripe for me to give to my 19 months? First time Mom here

The coldness of the fridge actually decreases the ripening. Heat speeds up the ripening process. If you want to have ready eat avocadoes, go for those firm but not too soft ones; darker green skin but not bruised or slight blackish and the pit is firm and not soft.

Dark green, firm and no bruises. To hastened the ripening process leave it at room temperature

You have to look for a dark green avocadoe. The darker the better
