If it's anonymous and no names were mentioned, honestly, it won't bother me too much. I will ask him why he felt the need to go to a forum instead of talking to me. And if it is indeed my parents' fault, I will definitely talk to them on his behalf.
I don't think I'd mind too much, but I'd prefer it if he came and spoke to me first. I've used forums for all kinds of issues and I find them really helpful so I think I'd understand him!
