How do I handle terrible-twos?

At this age, they are learning alot more about themselves. They are beginning to know that they have a voice and wants to be heard. So that is why when you tell them no, they freak out and throw tantrums because they do not understand why you say no. The thing that is important is to be consistent and set the boundaries right. Both parents have to do the same so there is consistency. If you can't climb on the table, you can't climb on the table under any circumstances. They will throw tantrums initially. Sit them down and explain to them why. Stick to it. And after a few times, they will realise that ok, I can't climb on tables. It takes alot of patience, and ear plugs even :) to get through the terrible twos. But you will get through it. All the best!
