Kids are smart..kahit hindi mo sabihin sa kanila,alam nila na merong “nangyayari” na hindi maganda between you and your husband.This is an emotional torture for the kid.If you love your kid,be honest and tell them whats going on.I know a couple who keeps on bickering at each other when they were married...it was so toxic that their kids are getting affected.When they got divorced,things turned out the opposite(not lying here...)they were civil and can talk without shouting or arguing...they also had more time spending with their kids,so sometimes divorce is not a bad thing.
