Can I know if the Sling in the SG50 gift pack is suitable to infants? If not, what types are? Need to know more about bringing my newborn around..TIA!

Contrary to Diana's answer, newborns and infants should not be placed in a cradle position unless they are nursing. The sg50 babasling shows how to carry infants in cradle positon, but this is extremely dangerous. Carrying your baby in a cradle position for extended periods of time is dangerous as the baby's head will be too low for you to notice if the baby has any difficulty breathing. The sg50 sling is not easy to master and is more suitable for infants about 4 months onwards. You may get an ergonomic soft structured carrier or ringsling. I am using Pognae. Tula and Ergo are popular brands, but infant inserts are required. Babies should be worn upright, and that applies to even newborns. Do read up more on babywearing for infants. Ringslings are an affordable option. Http://sg.theasianparent.com/best-baby-carriers/
