at 7 months you can start your baby on various liquids, as well as semi-solids, purees, mashed foods and such. my babies loved eating different types of soups, which i would first make into a puree. they also loved having dal rice, which i would mash together to make a smooth consistency. you can also make porridge using oats, carrots, dalia, sooji, ragi and such. in addition, you can make various purees using a mix of fruits and vegetables. there are lots of recipe sites where you will find detailed recipes as well.
you can start by just boiling the dal and giving the water to your baby. once your baby develops the taste, you can start boiling it really really well and then turning it into a puree so that the dal is entirely dissolved. you can feed this initially, and then add it to super boiled and mashed rice. you can also give very soft khichdi with just rice and dal, and later, as your baby is more comfortable, add some grated vegetables to it and then boil it all to a very soft consistency.
Hi, u can start with fresh fruits as they r easy to digest. Mashed banana and grinded apples are best. Then u can move on to daal ka paani., dalia, suji kheer, moong daal khichdi, and then u can start soup also. Start with simple tomato soup and then add spinach to tomato soup also after sometime.
