Hellow po. I am now suffering a Mastitis. Sobrang sakit ng dede as in super sakit. Nag tatake ako ng anti-biotics. Is it safe if I continue breastfeed with my two month old daughter? Thankyou so much po. Sana matulungan nio ako. I am a new mom and I dont have any idea what to do
Yes, it is safe pero nagpadede ako doon sa unaffected breast. Had mastitis twice when my baby was less than a month old and before she turned two months old. Just ask your ob/pedia na dapat yung antibiotics mo is safe for breastfeeding.
From march 25-april 20+ The first time I had it, akala ko magaling na since nung pumutok yung nana, sobrang dami. As in sobraaaa. After about two weeks, yung akala ko gumagaling na, sumakit na naman. Nagkaroon na naman ng mata but same place so okay lang. the antibiotics given the second time was more effective than the first.
