Hello!! Ask ko lang po, pwede ko pa ba maclaim yung Maternity Benefit ko sa SSS kahit 2yrs na ko di nagwowork? And pano po ba ang process nun? Kasi nag stop ako mag work ng Oct2013 and nanganak ng Jul2014. From Oct2015 di ko na naupdate ang SSS ko. Thank you in advance po

Pwede mo maclaim yung maternity benefit as long as nameet mo yung requirements ng SSS: 1. She has paid at least three monthly contributions within the 12-month period immediately preceding the semester of her childbirth or miscarriage. 2. She has given the required notification of her pregnancy to SSS through her employer if employed; or submitted the maternity notification directly to the SSS if separated from employment, a voluntary or self-employed member. If ever nagqualify ka sa number 1 but hindi ka nakapagfile (number 2), you may inquire sa SSS office or call them kung ano ang pwede gawin.
