How to train a 5 year kid to poo in toilet?

Have tried for weeks... but he just cry and ask for diaper. Anyone can give some suggestions? Feeling very helpless

5 yo, they can understand you. Wear diaper if he feel secure but constantly tell him to say out when he wants to pee or poop.
