Switching from subsidised route to private at 32 weeks

Hi has anyone at KKH done the above? I do have a gynae in mind which I tried to switch to this morning but have not received a reply - the customer hotline said it may be too late for any gynae to accept me :( has anyone switched this late before? Thank you.

Haha i did this but didnt get the dr i wanted for sure. end up with second choice but then at labour i got a relief gynae. so yea good luck i guess

Yes, I switched when I was 32 weeks. I chanced upon the gynae when I was still on subsidised route so she did the switch for me

hi it is still possible. I switched to kkh at 34 weeks. I'm seeing Dr ada Ng Xin hui

usually after 30 weeks, it may be hard to switch to private and find a gynae

must switch to private if prefer single room right?

no, I am still under subsidized after I had booked single bed ward. Only the day when you are admitted then they put you as private. And you have the option to go back to subsidized for your subsequent follow-ups. (KKH subsidised wise, not sure for others)
