Can I dye my hair during pregnancy? Are the ammonia fumes dangerous for my baby?

My hair has been turning white/grey since I was 18, so I have been dyeing my hair. But now that I am pregnant, I am not sure if I should continue. Any advice?

Most doctors will say that it's safe to do so but best to take precautions. If you really have to, at least wait til the second or third trimester. Also, maybe highlighting instead of dyeing the entire head could be another option?

Henna is a natural and organic dye used in India for generations. the process is a little long but its purely from plant extracts and is considered safe. you may find it in mustafa or little india shops.

Better not as it is not advisable. Did you try ginseng oil on your hair?

color is fine, but not bleaching. try to not color till the roots!

Ask your stylist to use colours with natural dyes.
