Yellow palm and sole

Good evening po mga mommies ask ko lang po sino naka experience nang yellow palm and sole ng baby 1 year and 3 months na siya.mas nakikita ung pagka yellowish nung palm and sole niya tuwing naliligo siya at kung pinipisil ko ung palm and sole.pa help po.thanks

Dalhin mo na agad si baby sa pedia nya mommy para maevaluate if may jaundice. Pero ung first-born ko before nagka case sha ng yellowish/orange-ish color sa palm and sole carotenemia naman yun - increased blood carotene levels.

If ung sa carotenemia mommy parang almost a week or so din bago nawala ung orange/yellow color ng palm and sole nya. Ang difference from jaundice i think is that jaundice shows yellow color all over the body kahit arms and legs - si carotenemia specific lang sa palm and sole. Better pa rin sana mommy maassess sha ni pedia para mas accurate.
