If employed, your employer gives it in advance to you, 1-2 months before your EDD. They pay for it first then they just reimburse it from SSS. For voluntary members, it usually takes 4-6 weeks as long as you have complete requirements.

Sis ano mas ok? Emoloyed and ilagay or volunteer? Nagchange kasi ako ng status sa sss simula buntis ako. Nag over the counter ako para on time ako magbayad kasi sa Work ko late sila maghulog. Pero pinastop ko na hulog ko sa work ko. Den dinagdagan ko monthly contribution ko as volunteer
