Does it make me less of a mom?

As a FTM, I tried my best to breastfeed my newborn for a month. (she's one month old now) but I decided to give it up today. Napansin ko, my baby barely gained weight and she's always fussy Lalo na pag Gabi. Hindi sya nakakatulog din ng matagal. On top of these, my mental health is already at stake trying to do my best to breastfeed. Sobra ang postpartum depression at anxiety ko. Lalo na pag nakikita ko na hirap at restless ang anak ko. Does anyone here experience the same?

It doesnt make you less of a mom. Fed is best. I wanted to breastfeed my baby even just for 6 mos but I had to stop at 3 months because i had mastitis. It affected me mentally and emotionally kasi i really wanted my baby to be breastfed. But when i stopped thats when i realized na mas naaalalagaan ko siya because im not pressured to produce milk na. Whether formula or breastmilk, whats important is you take care of your baby and yourself. As long as the baby isnt getting sick and gaining weight, yun ang importante. Dont get pressured to what the people around you say. Take care of yourself too!
