A friend of mine is planning to have a baby through IVF even through she already has two boys. She says that she wants a girl child. Don't you think that we all who want to be parents should think about adoption as an option when there are countless children whose lives will be changed if people like you and me become responsible as a member of society?

in my knowledge, IVF is a costly and a very painful procedure. it's good that she wants a girl child. you may take her to an orphanage without her knowledge and make her realise the benefits of adoption. because action speaks louder than words. what she does is totally her choice...but may be after seeing she might change her opinion.
