Breastfeeding is natural but not easy. Just like learning to drive a car, it takes time and practice to really get the hang of it. The importance of the emotional support that you offer during this time can not be overstated. You’re the cheerleader. If you offer encouragement and appreciation, not only will mom be more likely to hang in there past the rough part, she’ll remember you were there for her when she needed you. - See more at: http://www.dadsadventure.com/dadsblog/how-dads-can-help-with-breastfeeding/#sthash.pNXx46bo.dpuf For my husband, he never ask me to give up as he know my determination to breastfeed my baby for at least 6 months. Breastfeeding is never an easy path to take. As her husband, perhaps you could sit with her and talk to her while she breastfeeding/pumps. Get her a warm drink and some biscuits that she could have in case she gets hungry. After pumping session, offer to wash and sterilize her pumps so that she could take some time off to get some shut eye. You can tend to the baby if the baby isn't hungry so that she can rest for a little while. Every minute of rest counts, trust me.

If you can find some time to be alone, do something special for her, something you don't normally do -- it could be something as simple as preparing a nice meal for her or helping her with the chores. Surprising her with little gifts would be nice too :)
