What do you do if you are feeling unwell during pregnancy?

Hi all, this is my first time. I’m 6 weeks 1 day and my first appt will be coming Thursday. But I feel a little under the weather today as I woke up with slight sore throat. Should I get OTC medicine or wait till my Thursday appt to check with my gynae? Or should I go to any nearest GP in the meantime? Not sure which one will be better. Any suggestion mummies?

I was sick when i was around week 7. I went to gp on sunday and let him know i am pregnant and would visit gynae on wed. Gp did not prescribe medicine but gave me 2 days mc to rest. I spent the 2 days resting and drinking water until i saw my gynae. By then, i already felt better. On another occasion, i went to see gp for a small scald on my hand. Gp gave me some cream to apply and even though it is pregnancy safe, i chose not to use just in case.

Its really up to u. If u really need immediate relief then u can just take panadol and have lots of rest. Else u can go GP to get a prescribed medication safefor pregnancy.
