Baby slightly choke by saliva in yao lan

Fellow parents, just want to check do any of your young baby ever slightly choke by saliva when sleep in yao lan? Our 18 moths baby been having that problem, and now every time we put her into the yao lan, she seem to have fear about choking again. Any advise is appreciated thanks.

Perhaps at 18 months, your little one should sleep in a proper cot? Sleep training may seem daunting, and I know my little screamed her lungs out initially. But she went to bed on her own (in her own room too) and slept through the night within 2 weeks. The cot is also the safest and will help your little one not have fears of choking or suffocation. Would you be okay to take this brave step and make the switch?

Thanks Cherlyn.. We actually have a infant cot but she doesn't want to sleep in that anymore... Any recommendations for Toddler cot?

Consider to change to cot?
