Active TB.

Question

Hello fellow parents! Just wanna ask or have some advise if may active TB yung toddler. Meron po ba dito na naka experience na po nun sa mga baby niyo? Earlier nagpositive po kasi baby ko sa PPD test na may active TB siya maliban sa may pneumonia siya. Do you have some facts or things to share po about it. Some dos and donts. By the way 2 years old na po siya.

Not my baby but I had primary complex as a kid. Do's: 1. Follow medication plan ni pedia. 2. Make sure your baby eats healthy food. Lots of veggies. 3. Separate baby's things from other's, especially utensils, plates, and bowls. Don't 1. Smoke near the baby, dalhin sa mausok, maalikabok, etc. Need talaga malinis ang hangin para hindi lumala. Ganun din naman for healthy people pero since may sakit si baby, mas delikado para sa kanya yung fumes. Basta super mahalaga po na matapos ni baby yung treatment, kung ilang months/weeks man yun. Good luck po, and sana gumaling na si baby soon. It's treatable po and your baby can and will live a normal healthy life afterwards 😊
