Sound of bones pop when carry by armpit

Everytime when I carry my baby by her armpit I can hear her bone pop. After many months I told my mum and she ask me to carry her by the ribcage. I've been carrying her for many months by her armpit and I scare she will be in pain. So far she doesn't cry or there isnt any swollen.

If baby doesn't show pain and movements are normal it should be fine. Mine also will make some sound once on a while. Carrying by armpit is OK
