Does a newborn baby need a car seat for Grabcar?

Only selected Grab vehicles (family ones) are allowed to carry babies/children. Otherwise only taxis are legally allowed to carry babies/infants. I usually put my little one in the baby carrier and attach her to me, then put the seatbelt over us

Yes you do need for private hire car.
