Does doc or nurse give any kind of medication (insert or oral) to aid in clearing the bowel movement before the little one pop out?

I heard it’s normal but mine happened naturally I had mild diarrhea prior and then dialated Sometimes your own body also knows how nature to flush out stuff before bb arrives It is also one of the signs u are going into labour

I was given it for 1st two but nt given for the third child. My first 2 were induced .. So maybe tat's y. For the third i was sweating from the contraction pain already. So I'm glad they dint administer the med

I delivered in SGH and I asked for the medicine to clear bowel movement. The told me they didn't practise it anymore.

Yes for TMC ~ its a liquid type of med, insert and flush liquid in within few mins u can feel the urge to go toilet

Yes for mount alvernia. Nurse say is to prevent it infecting the little one shouldn't anything emergency happens.

Gave birth at KKH. They did not give me any medication for clearing bowel.

I did clear my bowel the afternoon before i'm at hospital haha

My cervix opened too fast and was unable to clear bowel...
