I was married 8 years and together for 12 before I became pregnant with our first child. That gave us a lot of time to work on our communication, improve the way we handle conflicts, and build financial security. Lots of alone time, too. There are times I wonder how different things could be. We are always working towards making things better and more lovely. Safe to say, marriage is hard work, and everyday is a new adventure.

we can have a better marriage if we always communicate with our spouses and talk about our differences and how are we going to deal with them.
