Do you secretly wish you had a better marriage?

I was married 8 years and together for 12 before I became pregnant with our first child. That gave us a lot of time to work on our communication, improve the way we handle conflicts, and build financial security. Lots of alone time, too. My hope is that this foundation will remain solid even after we become parents (but we'll see)!
