Bleeding: Miscarriage or will I be okay?

I tested positive twice so I know I am pregnant. I am entering 5th week of pregnancy and started spotting, which turned bright red, then stopped. Then the next day, I spotted, it turned into red bleeding, and now I am waiting to see if it continues or stops again. I do not have cramps. I know it is NOT implantation bleeding. So my question is: Is this a sign of an early miscarriage? Have you ever experienced red bleeding but still ended up with a healthy pregnancy?
