Music is good for a child's brain development. It is said that music can actually improve your child's speech and language skills. http://sg.theasianparent.com/music-and-language-development/ Other than classical music you can also consider exposing your child to other types of music which can enable you to communicate with it. For example songs that allow you to act it out with hand/body movements. http://sg.theasianparent.com/music-child-listen/
