Did you delay cord clamp? How long was it delayed for?

I had wanted to do delayed cord clamping and voiced my concerns to the doctor. There ARE pros and cons to delayed cord clamping. Babies who are born anemic or who have mothers who do, will benefit from delayed cord clamping, as will preterm babies. The general guideline is not less than 1 minute after birth. http://www.who.int/elena/titles/full_recommendations/cord_clamping/en/

I did not delay cord clamping and slightly regretting that decision cos I have heard that it has lots of benefits for baby. Usually the cord will be cut about 5 minutes after birth. You can find more details here. http://sg.theasianparent.com/delayed-cord-clamping/
