The herbs in mother's nursing tea or mother's milk herbal tea can imitate female hormones, as it contains Phyoestrogens. Phytoestrogens, which are plant estrogens, perform a lot like human estrogen. The tea is made up of a combination of herbs, namely: fennel, coriander, fenugreek, blessed thistle and aniseed. These herbs are said to increase or maintain a healthy milk supply. Whether or not the teas work or simply helpful psychologically for mothers, it is uncertain. http://sg.theasianparent.com/breast-milk-supply-faq/ http://www.breastfeeding-problems.com/mothers-milk-tea.html

I have a couple of friends who took Nurturing Remedies Organic Moringa Tea. Feedback from them is that it helps maintain their supply, which seemed to have dropped after returning to work. One of them felt that it was effective in increasing her supply (she took one tea bag a day as suggested). If you are interested in trying, you can get it at http://www.mumsfairy.com/collections/increase-milk/products/remedies-organic-moringa-tea

I have tried on the nursing tea. I did not find it significantly increase my supply. By latching baby more frequent or increase pumping, you will get more milk supply. Demand = Supply, let your body knows there is a demand and it will stimulate more milk.

thanks
