Buntis Mommies, did you or will you get the Covid vaccine?

YES! once i'm in my 3rd tri per my OB.. thankfully my sister got vaccinated during her 3rd tri because for almost the whole month of august, our family battled COVID.. and if weren't for the vaccine my sister and her newborn baby could have had severe symptoms.. the antibodies from the vaccine are passed on the baby so the baby is protected as well! yes it can be scary to get COVID vaccine but believe me it's way tooooo frightening to get the COVID virus itself.. the pain, the stress, the struggle, and the losses our family had to endure for a month 😢 we don't know when this pandemic will end but I believe if there are ways we can prevent or protect our pregnant-selves from the COVID virus then let's.
Magbasa paMy sister got her 1st dose of vaccine the other day. Her OB recommended her to get the vaccine to protect not only her but also the baby pag inilabas na. She was hesitant at first but when her OB explained to her the reason why she should have it she immediately called me and ask my opinion about it, of course I told her that her OB was right and she should have it especially she's planning to give birth in a public hospital.
Magbasa paNot pregnant. Pero yung preggy friend ko nagpa-vaccine nung 2nd trimester niya. SAFE and advisable magpa vaccine kapag 2nd to 3rd trimester preggy.. currently not pregnant but if I am, I will definitely get the vax. I remember the news about the 1st ever newborn baby with antibody against Covid. The baby got the antibodies from her mother's Covid Vaccine while she was still pregnant.
I am on my 2nd trimester now and I am very much willing to accept the vaccine for my safety and for the baby on my tummy as well . Marami ng studies na nagpapakita na naipapasa ng Mommy ang antibody sa baby habang sa tummy palang si baby .
This is a good protection for the mommy and the baby. Even my OB suggested this but during my time, di pa naroroll out yung vaccine. Gave birth last March, kung meron na vaccine that time, for sure I had mine na rin.

I had my 1st dose last month. According to the experts pregnant mothers are safe to get vaccinated for covid. This is not just a protection for the mom but also for the babies as well.
