Try switching up your position. How old is baby? For me I realised that when I held my Daughter in the froggy position, sitting up, she latched best. She also latched best when I had good flow of milk. So I would pump for a couple of minutes before I got her to latch.

How old is the baby? A lactation consultant would be the best person to demonstrate the latch directly. Or you can watch some Youtube videos, but they may not be that helpful...
