For my 4mo, screaming awake is almost always hunger. Even though his appetite varies. Much smaller in the day, bigger at night. If you say milk soothes your bb, seems like you found what he needs.
For my 17mo, it’s a phase that comes and goes. Nothing can be done other than giving my lo a pacifier and gentle patting.

Same. Just feed milk even if he doesnt finish. Thats what i always do.
