Do you feed your baby porridge for lunch and dinner?

Baby is 8 months old. Sometimes do BLW, sometimes just feed. Been feeding one meal porridge one meal oats and fruits, is that ok? Or should oats and fruits be more of breakfast.. thanks

I feed 3 meals a day plus a snack if possible coz my baby had trouble gaining weight. normally feed porridge for lunch and dinner coz I'm more concerned with getting the food into the kid than him flinging it around for now 😅

I understand, hope your baby gain some weight soon :) Jiayou

there's no need for a fixed amount of food yet. Baby's main nutrients should still come from breast milk or formula milk until they are 1 year old so for now just let your baby explore different food

I dont stress myself when feeding baby solid, i just feed whatever there is. Bb is 10 months. I think yours is perfectly fine! Cause i read below 1 is more for them to explore and not get full.

It also depends on whether the baby is ok. For my baby, he sometimes reject a certain meal if it’s repetitively fed to him on the same day. So I usually alternate between oats and porridge.
