My baby's 6 mos old. How do you clean baby's tongue? I'm currently using tooth wipes, but would love to know what other mums use.

I particularly use white cloth to clean my toddler's tongue. My pediatrician advised me to gently clean my baby's tongue after breastfeeding where the tongue is mostly left coated in white. Dipping it in warm water also helps in removing unwanted particles.

What I used to do is dip a very soft piece of white cloth in warm water (not too warm), and then gently open up my daughter's mouth. Next, I'd gently scrub the surface of the tongue to remove the milk.

My baby is also 6 months and a dentist friend told me that gauze lampin and warm water should be enough. Lightly scrape the tongue and gums every after meal and before sleeping.
