When my baby was 2 year old, she used to sleep for I guess more than 14 hours. She is a big sleeper and she used to cover most of her sleep during the morning. She is a late riser and would used to sleep for 13 or 14 hours at a stretch. But 14 hours of sleep in a day is good for 2 year olds. Go thorough these links below. They are very insightful and interesting. https://sleepfoundation.org/sleep-topics/children-and-sleep http://kidshealth.org/en/parents/sleep.html
ideally your baby should sleep for about 12 to 14 hours in a 24 hour cycle. you can try and make your baby sleep longer through the night, and make up for the remaining hours during the day. as my younger one has to wake up really early for preschool, she goes to sleep very early as well and sleeps straight till morning. she also takes a 2-3 hour nap in the day after coming home.
Hi, I think 12 to 14 hours of sleep is required for the baby who is between 1 and 3 year old. Typically, the child gets only 10 hours of sleep but you can make the baby take an hour or two nap in the afternoons so that her sleep pattern stays as it should be at this age.
