At what age do you start brushing the teeth of your children? Do we need to clean their gums before they even begin to have teeth?

I use a silicone tongue cleaner from tiny buds but before i had that i used to use a small towel and dip it into warm water and use my finger.

I do clean my newborn gum just with wet cloth twice a day, start brushing when the first tooth erupt

We started to brush her teeth at her first birthday - we bought a finger toothbrush.
