kids movies
At what age can I take my son to the movies or to watch a kids play? When is he Old enough to enjoy it?
My friend brought her newborn baby to cinema. It depends on your child, my daugther who is 6 years old now still does not like to go cinema as she do not like the loud sounds. You can start to bring your kid as soon as you like. Golden Village has Mother and Child promotion, where kid below 90cm can enjoy free entry with one adult ticket. There is a certain days and timings for Mother and Child promotion. My friend shared with me it is better to bring child during the session as there are other kids inside cinema where your child will tend to sit still when he/she sees other kids also doing the same. http://www.gv.com.sg/GVPromotionDetails#/promotion/a1b33f0c-beab-4e5f-adf9-bfac0eea9095/promotionsIndex/3
Read moreGolden Village actually has a Mums and Babies promotion where babies and toddlers are welcomed to watch a movie for a special price. However, I would suggest that your child is at least 18 months old and able to talk when you bring him to plays or movies as he can then ask you questions and talk to you about what he thinks about the movie. Younger children may be entertained, but they may not understand what is going on in the movie and may not be able to sit still. http://www.gv.com.sg/GVPromotionDetails#/promotion/a1b33f0c-beab-4e5f-adf9-bfac0eea9095/promotionsIndex/3

My kids enjoy the interactive play during the show. https://www.esplanade.com/festivals-and-series/playtime Normally during long school holidays in June and December, some shopping centres do organise performance like Barney, Dora, Barbie, Thomas and Friends. You can take note of the shows. It is free!

i started taking my kids for movies and plays from the time they were 3. we did take them for animated movies earlier, around 2 years. but plays were a little more complicated, so started around the age of 3.
there are many plays that a child as young as 2 will also enjoy, but sitting through the entire show may be a little tough. i think by the age of 3, you can definitely take your child for some kid movies.
thanks
4 years old, you can bring her to cinemas.
i suggest frm age 2 - due to screen time
