Mamsh ako dati every day bago ako magsimula sa work ko nagbrebrewed coffee ako pero nung nalaman ko preggy ako sa PT at Ultrasound ko by 6 Weeks instop ko na mag kape talaga for me and for my baby's Health talaga. Addicted ako sa coffee pero mas iprprioritize ko Health ni baby ko sa tiyan. As a medical allied I will give you an insight about caffeine: It is not advisable for us pregnant women to have caffeine, it is a chemical found in many foods and drinks, including coffee, tea and Cola. It can cause irritability, nervousness and sleeplessness. Best to limit the daily amount of caffeine to 200mg a day or avoid it altogether. It may also increase the risk of miscarriage or having a baby with low birth weight. Caffeine increases your blood pressure and heart rate, both of which are not recommended during pregnancy. It increases the frequency of urination that leads to reduction in your body fluid levels and can lead to dehydration. Hope this helps... Tiis tiis muna Im now 22weeks preggy.
