Hello mommy! For a 1 month old ideal feeding should be 3-5 oz already. Depends on how much the baby's stomach capacity can take (depends on weight of baby to compute for this). Crying after feeding is a sign that feeding was not enough. You may opt to pump milk in between feeds so as to increase your supply and give it via drip feeding or dropper feeding. If you want to resort to formula milk, you may also do so but please consider if you have a strong family history of allergy choose a formula that is hypoallergenic and not the regular ones. Do not stop breastfeeding or giving breastmilk though. Just have the formula feeds as support. Breastmilk is still best for babies.
