Are there any local Pinoy storybooks that teach kids to love their native language? How about books that teach them to appreciate Philippine history? Thanks!

You can try scouring for books in National Book Store. I'm not really sure if they still exist but I remember I used to read fables, alamat and bugtong published in a thin booklet.
