Yes, premature babies are at a higher risk for SIDS. However, do note that SIDS is still quite rare and unlikely to occur, especially in South Asia. There are no known causes of it, but there are some precautions you can take to lower the possibility. 1. Always lay your baby to sleep on her back and try to sleep in the same room. If co-sleeping, use a bassinet or Moses basket. 2. Don't let your baby overheat. Put on loose, breathable clothing for her. 3.
